The project involved the total refurbishment of a ‘super-prime’ Regency villa with connected mews house to the rear on Ebury Mews East.  The works included the structural demolition of a non-original rear extension, installation of a lift, underpinning of the party wall and construction of an in-fill extension to the lower ground floor level.

Working closely with the client and project team, eb7 ensured that all obligations under Party Wall etc. Act 1996 were discharged to enable notifiable works to proceed on programme.  This was achieved by adopting a pragmatic and responsive approach alongside the surveyor engaged by the Grosvenor Estate, along with the remaining surveyors acting for the other adjoining owners.  The Party Wall Awards included detailed provisions to safeguard the adjoining properties whilst also taking account of the requirements of neighbouring occupants.
