Royal Wharf is a 41 acre site with a 3,385 residential units provided within more than 30 separate blocks. We have so far been involved with the outline master plan application for the full development site and the detailed submission for phases 1 and 2.

The master planning phase involved an iterative design steering process to ensure an excellent provision of natural lighting was achievable within the blocks whilst still achieving the required volume of development. This process involved the production of highly visual and intuitive analyses, including VSC and APSH façade studies and massing envelopes.

The detailed design of the subsequent phases  were informed by our detailed daylight and sunlight calculations and design advice. The planning application was supported by a full environmental statement.
